Declutter and organize for a more peaceful space.
Home Organizing in Wyandotte, MI
By Grace Casey, owner of Graceful Gleam Cleaning. Serving Wyandotte and the Downriver area.
What does home organizing in Wyandotte, MI include?
Home organizing from Graceful Gleam Cleaning is hourly, hands-on help decluttering one space at a time in your Wyandotte or Downriver home: closets, pantries, playrooms, offices, garages and basements. Grace sorts items into keep, donate, relocate and toss with you, cleans the emptied space, and sets it back up with a simple labeled system you can maintain.
A tidy space is easier to keep clean, and it's easier to relax in. I help you sort through what's there, decide what stays, and set up simple systems so the clutter doesn't come back a month later.
I'm not here to judge what you keep. My job is to make the space work for you, whether that's one closet or the whole garage.
What’s included in organizing?
Spaces I organize
- Closets and dressers
- Pantries and kitchen cabinets
- Bathroom cabinets and linen closets
- Playrooms and kids' rooms
- Home offices and paperwork
- Garages, basements and storage rooms
How it works
- We talk through what's frustrating you about the space
- I sort everything into keep, donate, relocate and toss, and you make the calls
- I clean the space while it's empty
- Everything goes back in a sensible, labeled place
- I can drop off donations on my way out if you'd like
What’s not included?
So there are no surprises, here’s what organizing doesn’t cover:
- Hauling away large furniture or junk removal (I can suggest local options)
- Buying storage products on your behalf unless we agree on it first
- Making decisions for you about what to keep
How long does organizing take?
Organizing is booked by the hour. A single closet or pantry is usually a short session; a garage or basement may take more than one visit. I'll estimate per space.
How should I prepare?
A little prep helps me spend the time on actual cleaning:
- 1Decide which space is bothering you most; one space at a time works best
- 2Have a few bags or boxes ready for donations and trash
- 3Think about how you actually use the space so we can design around that
Good to know
Organizing is booked by the hour so you can start small. Tell me which space is bothering you most and I'll give you an estimate for it.
If you'd like bins, baskets or labels, I can suggest what to buy or pick them up for you ahead of time.
