Regular House Cleaning in Wyandotte, MI

By Grace Casey, owner of Graceful Gleam Cleaning. Serving Wyandotte and the Downriver area.

What does regular house cleaning in Wyandotte, MI include?

Regular cleaning from Graceful Gleam Cleaning is a standing weekly, bi-weekly or monthly visit to your Wyandotte or Downriver home. Each visit covers kitchen counters and appliances, bathrooms, dusting, floors, beds and trash, plus one rotating extra such as baseboards or ceiling fans. The same person, Grace, comes every time.

Regular cleaning is a standing visit on a schedule that fits your life: every week, every other week or once a month. The same person, me, every time, so I learn how you like things and you never have to explain twice.

Each visit covers the rooms you use most, and I rotate in extra attention to a different area each time so nothing builds up between visits.

What’s included in regular cleaning?

Every visit

  • Kitchen counters, sink, stovetop and the outside of appliances
  • Bathrooms: toilet, shower or tub, sink, mirror and floor
  • Dusting of surfaces, shelves and decor within reach
  • Floors vacuumed and mopped throughout
  • Beds made and bedrooms tidied
  • Trash emptied and bags replaced

Rotating extras

  • Baseboards and door frames
  • Inside the microwave
  • Ceiling fans and light fixtures
  • Window sills and tracks
  • Cabinet fronts

What’s not included?

So there are no surprises, here’s what regular cleaning doesn’t cover:

  • Deep-clean tasks like grout scrubbing or inside appliances on every visit (these rotate in, or book a deep clean)
  • Laundry or organizing unless added to the visit
  • Exterior windows, garages or yard areas
  • Dishes left in the sink beyond a quick load into the dishwasher

How long does regular cleaning take?

A regular visit is shorter than a deep clean because it maintains a home that's already at a good baseline. After I see your home at the first visit, I can tell you how long each recurring visit will take.

How should I prepare?

A little prep helps me spend the time on actual cleaning:

  1. 1Tidy loose items so counters and floors are clear
  2. 2Leave out anything you'd like changed, such as fresh sheets or towels
  3. 3Keep a note on the counter if you want something different this visit

Good to know

Most homes start with a deep clean so that regular visits can stay quick and affordable. If your home is already in good shape, we can skip that step.

You pick the day and frequency. If you need to move a visit, a text is all it takes.

You don't need to be home. Many of my clients leave a key or a door code, and I treat your home with the same care whether you're there or not.
